The Goings On for the Week of: May 4-10, 2020

Hey all!!! It’s Dre coming to you with updates for the week.

 

Mortal Kombat 11 Introduces…Robocop and brings back Friendships!

 

Well we are all set for Kombat Pack 2 with the release of Fujin, Sheeva, and …… ROBOCOP? Yeah they have gone ahead and went there people. Our good friend Murphy aka Robocop is back and I can’t wait to see what his game play is going to look like. With all the speculations that is going on with him my biggest question is… What’s the fatalities look like? Will ED2000 be one of them? That would be hot if you think about it. And then  there are now Friendships back as the have revealed Subzero, Scorpion, and Kano’s. I won’t spoil it for anyone but if you want to know more the link!

 

 

Division 2

TU 9.1 seems to be the most promising patch update to date. After watching State of the Game, we found out that they will be nerfing the NPCs and buffing the players in what is to be a balancing patch. I know that there are few of us that are very happy about this as now we can almost be on the same playing field while farming for individual pieces to perfect our gear to our playing style. This has been much awaited seeing that some of the NPCs have been on a run and gun fest to be rid of players from getting to our goal and this was also agreed upon by the staff at Ubisoft. This should really help. The next thing they need to work out is the RNG and turn the percentage up a slight bit as the bigger content creators are getting the loot that we are looking for where as everyone else is still like what in the world?

*On a personal note, I finally got an EB (Eagle Barrier) and I will say now I see the hype behind it. This AR is just about the truth compared to what I will be hunting down next, the Lady Liberty.

 

Taking A Break

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic all of the try-hards have been home annoying the mess out of me. So I have decided that I will be stepping back from the FGC for a while. I will still maintain passing on the news and updates that I may find out but for now it’s going to be Magic and Final Fantasy 7 Remake for a while. Thanks for understanding.

The Goings On for The Week of: April 20-24, 2020

What’s going on FGC/FPS People?! It’s been a good week as opinions are running wild! Divisions 2’s TU 9 was released this Tuesday and I will say that those opinions are going crazy. And of Kombat League season ended this Monday. There is so much to talk about so let’s get it in!

 

 

 

Division 2

TU 9

TU 9 was released this Tuesday and so much has been happening with it. As usual there was some bugs going on but some were fixed while others still exist. The biggest bug that is happening from what I have seen is when you go to Coney Island. There is a part right as you have taken over the mortar rounds there is a gate that you are supposed to go through. Well, the Ubisoft Gods have decided that you must kill yourself before you can go through the gate. You must do a complete wipe and let the ads be restored in this area. Once you complete this, then you will be able to move forward from that point. Some people, like myself was having problems with this and wish that Ubisoft gets this fixed. This could be part of why Red Storm may have left because of the issues that have been going on before this.

DPS Glitch

The DPS Glitch was fixed and all those who took part in it suffered some consequences from it except for one major person. Hamish Bode, State of the Games hero, seemed to has not been penalized for taking part in the Glitch as to where everyone else was either rolled back or got hit with a Perma-Ban. Now this isn’t fair at all which leads me to believe that they wanted Hamish to get away with this seeing that he is the face of The Division. I guess what’s good for the goose is not good for the gander in this point.

Cero get’s Perm a-Banned

So with all that has been going on with what LTG has done against Cero you would thing that Cero would take the high ground right? WRONG!!! This fool goes off and sinks to LTGs level by going off on him and goes racial about him. Dropping the N-Bomb over and over again not knowing that he was being watched for a reaction to what LTG said about him. Now this fool is Perms-Banned! No, good “Person”, what’s good for the goose was not good for the gander on that move. I would say maybe they will learn from their mistakes but the both of them have been put on ice! We should learn from both these idiots.

Red Storm steps away from Division…

A tweet that emerged from Terry Spiers’ Twitter account showed a very cryptic message stating that he hasn’t been working on the Division 2 on April 14th. Now I know this is late and I do appologize, but there could be good reasoning for this. A lot of the gamers have said that they believe it is Red Storm.

 

Street Fighter V Champ Edition:

With all that going on with COVID-19 there still nothing going on in the tournament scene. We all may be going through withdrawls with what seems like EVO may not be happening this year. Trusting Capcom with the Netcode is still iffy so when wanting to put together a network tournament it may be too much lag going with that. Now could there be anything done about this? Maybe not, but just the fact that there is some form of Street Fighter going on it would be something to look forward to. Let’s hope to see something in the future.

 

Cero gets dropped…

Cero this weekend decided that he wanted to go on an all out rant dropping none other than the “N-word”. Now with all this going on you should soon see where streaming on any platform is about to be on some strict monitoring. When will we get it together people? Kyle Larson got hit by being fired from NASCAR and now Cero goes off and does this.

 

Completely Agree!!!

I took a look this Tier list and I completely agree with what it represents. I have sat here for so long and watched all these Mortal Kombatants play this game and the constant ones that seem to be picked are Terminator, Joker, Lui Kang, and Jackie Briggs. Now if you ask me NRS should be like Street Fighter and nerf some of these OP fighters and get this right. I know that some fighters deserve to be on a certain level but some of them need to be fixed to represent where they really belong in the scene. Will this ever get fixed? No one ever knows because if I say this right, NRS will never do as Capcom does and fix the mistakes or at least tweak what needs to be tweaked. Well I’ll catch you next time. The Goings On for the Week of: April 13-17, 2020

Hey all what’s good? This is your boy Dre hitting you up with The Goings On for the week. I decided to do this as a weekly segment because from day to day, nothing much has come from the FGC or any other news except for CORONAVIRUS! But still this week was very eventful as I’ve seen so much hate going on.

NASCAR Driver drops the N-Word!

So, one of the biggest things that has happened this week was the fact that NASCAR Driver, Kyle Larson, drops the N-Bomb! During an event that was going on Kyle Larson decided that he wanted to be hood! What do I mean by that? The event he was racing in was actually sanctioned by NASCAR with a majority of its drivers participating. Now while he was driving he let it slip once as the other drivers tried to warn him. The he just opens the pipeline and lets it flow. Now he has been fired from NASCAR for his rant and some of the drivers believe that he should get a second chance. Clearly you can tell that that Kyle is  a Hip Hop head the way he drops it but at the same time should have used better judgement when using the Bomb!! Click Here for more info.

 

 

Low Tier God (LTG) Goes nuts on Homophobic Rant!

In the middle of a match, LTG decided to rage quit and goes off on how BDG CeroBlast is not a real Tranny. Calls him out on Youtube as he got off the match and basically goes in on him. Stating that if he was he would have his private augmented to look like a woman’s private part. But the crazy thing is while this is going on, no one commented in the chat letting him know that he was wrong and out of place, regardless his opinion. LTG has been known to belittle everyone that he goes up against just to get into their heads and still be disrespectful after. Majority of the FGC though was not having it with players like Justin Wong saying that it was shameful and not appropriate, NoGoodCitizen says that everything that LTG does is an act or persona and then says that he’s a clown. Wolfgang is calling for him to be banned, I am for it. This is a community that fights each other on the game, not IRL. If you can’t contain your hate then you should have nothing to do with the FGC.

 

 

Mortal Kombat and Facebook Gaming Team Up.

Mortal Kombat has teamed up with Facebook Gaming to run a week long charity event. The procedes from the event will be going to United Nations Foundation to help out with the COVID-19 Outbreak. April 20-26. Click Here for more info.

Is doing an IRL worth it?

So my daughter was in the room watch an IRL Twitch broadcast today and it sparked a thought in my head. Should I attempt doing an IRL? What would my IRL be about and how would I attract my audience? IRL for those who may not know stands In Real Life. With all that’s going on these later day, this virus has everyone thinking of ways to pass the time. I’m considering even doing the same thing on my Facebook Page at least once a week. Maybe on Mondays.

IRLs can be really informative seeing that all the issues with coronavirus is going crazy throughout the world with the US has jumped up to 555K cases in the world. There will be always be game play streamed but to be able to share a little bit of news and possible sunshine to viewers would be out standing. So let’s just have fun with this as we get this together. Love you all, and be safe!

A Day With Dre

Hey guys! So today I got online and streamed for a couple of hours. It was kind of fun but still building an audience. One thing I will say is that this is a challenge that has picked up due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). While streaming I want to be able to interact with my followers to see what it is they are doing on a daily. I will be doing the same thing on my IG just to check in with people and share what they may have going on too. So please if I send an invite your way please don’t be afraid to accept. I just spreading love the best way that I can. Love is what is needed and not people running around here scared. This is what a day with Dre will be like. Thanks again!!

Tekken World Tour Cancelled?

We responding from a tweet that I saw to day it seems more and more evident that COVID-19 is really ruining things for the FGC. The latest news comes from Bandai Namco with what looks like a schedule pulling all the dates until further notice for the Tekken World Tour. Check it out!

 

All the Events looked to have been pulled as of April 3rd.

 

These slanderous actions that COVID-19 has brought has basically put the world in a bored state of mind. But we do what we can to make it by. Some in the FGC are trying to put together online tournies withing lobbies and airing them on Twitch to keep things moving along without the big money from CAPCOM, BANDAI, and other creator/sponsors just to keep their skills up or to introduce a fighter that they decided to take up during this time. It’s been nothing short of practicing for the Pros and with events shutting down like the Tekken World Tour, this will show who will be the Alpha once game time starts back up.
