So I let this stew for a day because I’ve seen some foolishness in polotics but not like this. This wednesday that past was the Democratic Debate where Micheal Bloomberg was finally invited. It was good to see a fresh face on stage but also it was very deploring at the same time as I watch the entire debate attack one man. A man who seemed to not be prepared to rebut any questions that he faced.
Elizabeth Warren laid waste to him on Sexual Harassment issues in his company. Mayor Bloomberg had those who were assaulted to sign NDAs so that his business would not suffer anymore. Ms. Warren demanded that the NDAs be removed so that they may be questioned and that the American people can find out for ourselves. As I can agree with what she is attempting, I also believe that if NDAs have been signed, then this should be left alone.
The same when Bernie Sanders bluntly attacked him as well on the infamous “Stop and Frisk” law. For those who may not know, Stop and Frisk was a law passed that allowed local law enforcement officials the power to stop someone the assumed to be armed illegally. This law caused an uproar because it targeted minorities more than anything. Once other officials had became involved in what was going on the law was done away with and things moved forward. Mayor Bloomberg will never be allowed to live this down. The 1994 Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act to where there mass incarceration. And also they did away with higher education for inmates.
Mayor Bloombergs’ Prep team failed him when for anything that would have came his way and I believe that it’s time for him to replace them. That’s just completely out of sorts! Let’s get it right Mayor Bloomberg!!
